SunHerald.com : SS Camille to sail on final voyage: "The SS Hurricane Camille has sat in the same spot since late summer 1969, and now City Hall wants the owner, Lucille Moody, to clean up the property. If not, the city will demolish what's left of the 72-foot tugboat, clean the land and send Moody the bill."

I put a farewell entry on my blog about the S.S. Camille. My wife grew up in Gulfport and I lived north of there. We now live in Florida but we have fond memories of the S.S. Camille. I have several pictures I took of the landlocked boat on my blog as well in case you'd like to see them.
Thanks for commenting Carl. We have lost so much that was familiar to us that to also lose the old tugboat actually hurt.
